Turkey plans to resume international flights on June 12, in case of a favorable situation with the coronavirus in Russia, flights may begin in the Russian Federation, according to the Sabah newspaper.

“Domestic flights in Turkey will be resumed in early May, international flights after June 12. First of all, we are talking about flights to Germany and Russia - the countries from which the most tourists come to Turkey, ”the newspaper writes.

Turkish Airlines has already announced plans to resume flights for the summer. In June, the carrier plans to fully restore domestic flights, as well as start flights to 19 countries. Among them are Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, Canada, as well as a number of European, Asian and Middle Eastern countries.

In July and August, the airline plans to increase its transportation volumes. So, in July, flights will be made to 74 countries, and in August - to 98 countries.
