The Russian Foreign Ministry has published the conditions for the resumption of international tourist trips, according to the portal of the "Association of Tour Operators"

The website of the Foreign Ministry was published list with prerequisites. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, "the decision to resume regular passenger flights should be carefully worked out and taken taking into account the current epidemiological situation both in our country and in the world as a whole."

According to the explanations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, "rest in Turkey will become possible after the completion of the sanitary and epidemiological certification of tourist facilities." It is interesting that this is the only state in the entire document on the issues of recreation of our citizens in which a specific condition is spelled out.

As for Greece, as the Russian Foreign Ministry put it, the opening of its external borders will take place on a bilateral basis with those states where the severity of the situation with the coronavirus is decreasing.

There is cautious optimism about Cyprus as well. Russia has not yet entered the list of 19 countries whose citizens are allowed to enter Cyprus at the moment. “With regard to Russia, the situation may clear up in the second half of June,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the restoration of tourist flow from Russia has not been discussed with Bulgaria to date.

According to the ministry, “if the situation develops favorably, one can expect that European countries will open up to each other in June-July. And only after that a decision will probably be made on the advisability of opening the external borders of the EU. "

At the same time, the Foreign Ministry emphasizes that in the case of Austria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Switzerland, it is premature to talk about the restoration of full-fledged international transport links and tourist exchanges with Russia.

The situation with the Baltic countries is more optimistic. “Possible steps towards lifting restrictions on the entry of Russians with tourist purposes into the territory of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will depend on the stabilization of the situation with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic both in the Baltic states themselves and in Russia,” the Russian Foreign Ministry notes.

So far, there are no prospects for opening the borders of China and India. The situation is not rosy in the countries of Southeast Asia (including Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand). “The lack of regular international, and in some cases domestic, air traffic also excludes the possibility of resuming tourist exchanges in the near future,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Russian diplomats have no information about the opening of borders for foreign tourists by the governments of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the opening of borders by African countries (Kenya, Mauritius and Zanzibar) for Russian citizens is also "unlikely." A similar situation, according to the Foreign Ministry, is in Latin America: Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Jamaica.
