The date February 15, 2021 was repeatedly sounded from the statements of representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Education, as the beginning of the resumption of education in schools.

However, many parents wondered whether all schoolchildren would return from vacation for school desks or only part of the classes, as was the case at the first stage of opening schools.

Turkish Education Minister Ziya Selcuk said on Wednesday that his department, together with the Ministry of Health, intends to return all students to the school.

“With an eye to the situation in society, the mood of families, parents and children, we are firmly convinced of the need to open schools with the maximum possible capacity from February 15,” the head of the Ministry of Education said.

In addition, the Ministry of Education has sent out permits to 81 provinces for the possibility of full-time study at the DYK preparatory education courses from January 22 for students in grades 8 and 12.
