Turkish-made TOGG electric vehicles are equipped with a domestic meteorological data transmission system. Moreover, online information support will be carried out by the Meteorology Office under the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MGM).

The new system will warn drivers about worsening weather conditions, suggest alternative routes, which will optimize battery consumption.

The prototypes of the first Turkish cars - the electric crossover SUV C segment and the electric sedan - were presented last year. Serial production of electric vehicles is expected to begin in mid-2022.

The car will be connected to the Internet through the operator Türk Telekom, and its system will launch online updates. As we reported earlier, new cars will also have emergency notification system in case of e-Call accidents.

The electric car will have two different power options - 200 hp. and 400 hp. The cars will be able to accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 7,6 seconds and 4,8 seconds, respectively, depending on the engine type. The range of the models will be 300 and 500 km.

Its lithium-ion battery, entirely developed by the Turkish Automobiles Initiative Group (TOGG), can be charged to 80% in less than 30 minutes. The vehicle meets the standards of the five-star rating system of the European New Car Assessment Program.
